If you love bird watching then read this report.
Guess what Townley School have been up to?
Class two have been taking part in the Big Bird Watch! Feeders got put out so we could see the birds. Nature Club made feeders from recycled milk cartons.
Everyone had a tally chart. Year 2 went to the dining hall with a piece of paper on the window so the birds could not see us.
First we saw very few birds but later we saw lots and lots.
We had little cubes of cheese, raisins, fruit and hot chocolate.
It helped me learn about the different kinds of birds.
Spellings have been corrected.
If you like bird watching read this report!
Class Two Townley School helped the RSPB to find out what birds we have here. ome teachers brought in bird feeders. They were put there because the RSPB wanted to know what birds we have here. The Year 2's were in the dinner hall. The Year 3 and 4 were in the class. We only saw a few birds at the beginning but then more came.
For our bird break we had cheese, raisins and pear. It was so yummy.
I hope you like my report and I hope you want to do it too.
